Spacious double room with stunning countryside views and very quiet surroundings. The garden offers a pleasant retreat to unwind, complete with comfortable seating to enjoy the scenery.
The mattress in the room felt too hard for comfort, which might not suit everyone's preference. Arriving during a slow period left the place feeling a bit empty and personal, like encroaching on someone’s private home.

The spacious family room had stunning countryside views and was impeccably clean. Breakfast truly impressed with an extensive choice, from full English to fresh fruit. The gardens were beautifully kept, offering a serene place to unwind and enjoy a drink outside. The quiet location made it a perfect retreat. I found the mattress a bit hard for my liking, which might not be suitable for everyone. The welcome felt somewhat formal. a warmer reception could enhance the experience. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the attention to detail in room amenities.

Family with children perfect retreat
The breakfast was fantastic, cooked perfectly with thick rashers of bacon that melted in your mouth, not to mention the lovely fresh croissants served with cheese on request. Kids loved the spacious family room, we enjoyed sitting in the guest lounge while they played in the garden which felt like our own little paradise.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still worth it for the quality we experienced.
